MISA joined leading organisations in energy, utilities and renewables at the three day Enlit Africa conference, showcasing its work to strengthen municipal infrastructure and service delivery.
Alongside the exhibition, MISA held strategic discussions with investors and development partners to unlock funding for water, sanitation, electricity and energy resilience projects, positioning itself as a technical partner able to turn partnerships into delivery.

MISA took part in the Provincial Water Summit at the Durban International Convention Centre, where government and industry leaders set out sustainable solutions for water service delivery across KwaZulu-Natal.

MISA handed over completed infrastructure to the Harry Gwala District Municipality. The scope covered siting, drilling, testing and equipping of two boreholes, roughly four kilometres of connecting pipeline to the existing reservoir, solar powered borehole pumps and eleven communal standpipes.

Over two days at the Ugu District Sports and Leisure Centre and the Peace Initiative Hall in Ixopo, MISA and Old Mutual equipped small and medium enterprises with practical financial skills.
Sessions covered budgeting, debt and borrowing, savings and investment, financial behaviour, business planning and compliance, strengthening readiness to access funding and pursue market opportunities.

Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Velenkosini Hlabisa led a high level engagement with His Majesties from KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape on the Eastern Seaboard Development Initiative, strengthening collaboration with traditional leadership to unlock economic opportunity in rural communities.
Ms. Mapatane Kgomo of MISA outlined the agency role in coordinating implementation, set out progress to date, and emphasised the investment drive as the next critical step toward a new Afrocentric smart city.
