MISA handed over completed water infrastructure to the Harry Gwala District Municipality. The scope covered siting, drilling, testing and equipping of two boreholes, roughly four kilometres of connecting pipeline to the existing reservoir, solar powered borehole pumps and eleven communal standpipes.
The project serves about 1,260 households, created 24 local jobs and engaged two local subcontractors.
